Have I Always Wanted to Know How to Quit Smoking Weed? Hell No!
So then have I always wanted to know How to Quit Smoking Weed? Hell no I haven’t. There was actually a time when the thought of that was like swearing. Why would I have ever wanted to quit. It was the best thing that was ever invented.
I used to make excuses to my self and other people who questioned me about my smoking of weed.
In my earlier days of smoking I used to say things like -
- Weed is totally natural.
- It was smoked long before anyone ever started drinking beer.
- There is no reason for it to be illegal, I mean look at all the trouble alchol causes compared to weed.
It felt great didn’t it, hanging out with your mates all just chilling having a smoke and then talking random crap to each other about things like laws, politics or just general life and coming up with theories about things that you really didn’t know that much about even tho you could get lost in a 3 hour conversation about it and in the end you think you have discovered the theory of relativity.
So had I asked anyone How to Quit Smoking Weed yet? Of course not I still had a good few smokes left inside me.
This continued for a long time. Starting in the local park, then when we started passing our driving tests we could now venture out more and drive places to get stoned in our cars, we could go to the beach and get stoned there or drive in to town and get stoned there. The next step in all this was when people started getting houses or flats we would go sit round there and get stoned.
Can you see the trend in all of the above? That’s rite, there was not a single part of my life that did not involve getting stoned. Day in day out I had to have some weed.
In the later days of my smoking I used to tell my self things more like -
- I have to smoke weed to feel calm.
- I need to have a joint before bed or I can not sleep.
- I need it to socialize.
- It helps me get things done (this was just an illusion as it really doesn’t help get things done).
The above statements are FALSE. You do not have to smoke weed to feel calm, You do not need to smoke weed to feel calm, you don’t need it to socialize as there is a whole exciting world out there for you to go and get and it certainly does not help you get anything done.
It was when I realized this that I started the search for How to Quit Smoking Weed.
How to Quit Smoking Weed – My Background
Hi there guys and girls or anyone who is taking the time to read my How to Quit Smoking Weed blog. I am writing this because I have been in your position and I realize how hard it must feel looking into the future now.
I am going to start by telling you a bit about myself, what I experienced through my stoner days and What made me decide to quit the weed.
My name is Stu form England and I am now 27 years old. I grew up in a normal area in a village in the north of England, I wasn’t badly treat by my parents and I didn’t get pushed into smoking weed. It was a choice that I made on my own (well with a few mates but we were all in the same boat) and at the time didn’t regret 1 bit.
I certainly didn’t think I would ever be on the net asking How to Quit Smoking Weed. Back then it seemed like the best thing that could of happened to me.
When I first started smoking weed I think I was about 15. I can remember the first time, it was this big planned out thing that we had arranged over the last week at school. We would buy an 1/8th and go to a local deserted house to smoke it.
That all went as planned until the next I saw a kids mum at my house who never visits (this kid was the village idiot a couple of years older than me who was into some harder drugs) I new as soon as I saw her. BUSTED! Yeah that’s rite probably 12 hours after my first joint I had already been caught smoking weed by my mum.
My mum was surprisingly calm. she gave it more of the i’m not angry i’m upset routine which I really hated when she played that card on me (it almost seemed unfair). I would rather she would have screamed at me than cried.
Anyways, fast forwarding a few years of getting stoned in various locations and it wasn’t long before I had been smoking weed for about 6 years never even thinking about How to Quit Smoking Weed.
It had gone from a bit of fun to a way of life. This simple drug that I was always told you could not get addicted to I seemed to have become addicted to.

Tips on How to Quit Smoking Weed
When I first started thinking about How to Quit Smoking Weed I think the biggest worry I had was that all of my friends did it so how could I possibly quit if everyone around me was doing it.
It wasn’t even like a peer pressure type of thing it was more the fact that I just couldn’t visualize my life without it. Especially when hanging out with a bunch of mates. Playing video games, going for a drive or even just living my day to day normal life how was I going to replace it. Now looking back the question should not be how are you going to replace it it should be more like what can I replace it with?
If you are think of going it alone and are looking for ways of How to Quit Smoking Weed then my best piece of advice to you is to get yourself a hobby.
Here I am going to tell you what I ended up occupying my time with. I am not telling you to follow in my foot steps exactly I am just saying that keeping your mind busy and off the weed helps no end. Obviously everyone’s interests will not be the same as mine.
I had always been a bit of an adrenaline junkie when I was younger, I loved Skateboarding and would always do anything for a bigger buzz. After a while of smoking weed all of this stopped as I became lazy. So my first move was to find a sport. I chose kite surfing and still do it to this day and absolutely love it.
My next weed trade if you like, actually came when I was searching the net for How to Quit Smoking Weed. I came across a guy on a forum who I got speaking to who spoke to me about his job which was in some kind of internet marketing. This intrigued me instantly as I knew of people working from home on the net but wasn’t ever really sure what they did.
After speaking with this guy for a bit I started getting in to the whole scene of internet marketing in a big way and to this day I still make a living from it.
I have quitting smoking weed to thank for this as if I had never been online looking for How to Quit Smoking Weed I would never have met this guy and I would not have learnt the skills I have learnt today to set up my online businesses.
If anyone is interested in this then please drop me a line as I love talking about it and would happily give you a few tips and places to get started. I can go on about it all day but I will stop now as that is not why we are here.
